The second range is a resin based lacquerware which we do keep in stock and is available for immediate despatch. Japanese lacquerware is prized because it contains the highest proportion of the one substance that gives lacquerware its coveted qualities, it is called ‘urushiol’ borrowed from the Japanese word for lacquer, which is ‘urushi’. more
