Mizuhiki is an ancient Japanese artform which was traditionally used to
tie up the hair of the samurai. Japanese Mizuhiki uses a special cord which has been created from rice paper, tightly wound, starched to give it stiffness, and then coloured. It has become popular with craft enthusiasts as in Japan it is widely used on greetings cards.
The video demonstrates how to use Mizuhiki.
