Kimono
Kimono (which translates as 'a thing to wear') is the tradfitional costume of Japan and the origins can be traced back to the 9th - 12th centuries when clothing styles became markers of age, rank and ceremony.
Our authentic Japanese kimono are lightweight kimono, also called 'Yukata', which are ideal to relax in at home or on holiday, for both men and women. They are available in cotton, polyester and silk, have three simple size options and all come with a matching belt or 'obi'. For your information, in Japan you would always wear your kimono left over right! |
