The Large Cherry Bark Tea Caddy (130g) has been hand-crafted from wild cherry tree bark for the purpose of keeping your tea as fresh, and therefore as tasty, as possible. This is a high quality gift which we recommend for people who really appreciate both their tea and traditional Japanese craftsmanship. This tea caddy has been crafted purely from wood (unlike the smaller version has no metal inner tin) measures 12cm high x 8cm dia and comes complete with a gift box.

The Large Cherry Bark Tea Caddy has been crafted in Kakunodate which is renowned for its samurai houses and rows of cherry trees, which is why it is also known as Little Tokyo. It is where the crafting of the wild cherry bark wood or Kabazaiku has flourished for over 230 years. Kaba means the bark of the Yamazakura Tree which makes the work completely unique, and Zaiku means craftsmanship.
