The Pink Knot Shugi Bukuro is an envelope used in Japan for gifts of money at weddings, births or other special occasions. It has a small paper pocket into which you can put money and is decorated with cords of tightly-twisted paper tied in an intricate bow. Cords used on happy occasions are either red and white, gold and silver or red and gold.
The 4th image above depicts the different messages which are included for you to select as appropriate and (from left to right) they are 'Congratulations', 'Wedding Celebration', 'Celebration' and blank in order to enable you to write your own brief greeting above the cord. Your name should be written below the cord.
Shugi Bukuro are also ideal for use with a Japanese Shop Gift Voucher!
