The very chic Higuchi Vintage Japanese Kimono Robe is an almost brand new vintage (pre-owned) kimono in excellent condition. This delightful polyester kimono is exclusive to The Japanese Shop, made in Japan with traditional full-cut sleeves and is fully lined. The black and grey geometric pattern is all over the kimono and it has a cream and beige colour lining. There are still tacking stiches around neck to front edges which you would take off when purchased. The Higuchi Vintage Japanese Kimono Robe is a very elegant kimono which you can imagine a Japanese lady may have worn. The inspiration for this kimono comes from Higuchi Ichiyo, who was born in the Meiji era and was the first Japanese female writer of modern literature, short stories and poetry. Higuchi's stories have been translated into a variety of languages. Tip: Please check the length carefully as Vintage Kimono are typically longer than regular kimono but you can adjust the length slightly by pulling it through the belt!
